Chevrolet Aveo Sedan 2012

Prior to the launch of the highly successful Cruze, the Aveo was Chevrolet's best-selling car globally. An all-new Chevrolet Aveo goes on sale summer 2011 and it is designed to expand on the nameplate's success in the highly competitive small car market. It will be offered as a five-door hatch and as a sedan, each delivering excellent ride and handling characteristics and a sporty and sophisticated design, as well as roominess and fuel efficiency.
Equally at home on the daily commute to work or the weekend drive to the countryside, the new Aveo is a compelling choice for young and young-at-heart, style-conscious drivers - and it complements a range of exciting new Chevrolet designs that will be launched throughout 2011, Chevrolet's centennial year.
"It's such an exciting time to be at Chevrolet: Not only do we have new entries into the MPV and compact classes, in Chevrolet Aveo we have a completely new car which is ready to compete against the best in the small-car segment, which is also Europe's largest segment," says Wayne Brannon, President and Managing Director of Chevrolet Europe.
The latest edition of the Chevrolet Aveo is an all-new vehicle that includes a completely redesigned exterior and passenger cabin, a newly developed chassis and body structure, as well as an upgraded range of fuel-efficient, low-emission engines.
The Chevrolet Aveo has been engineered to make everyday driving in a small car a more dynamic and enjoyable experience, while delivering practical, hands-on solutions and value. In order to ensure responsive handling, engineers developed an all-new chassis for the Aveo that is among the most rigid in its segment.

2011 Chevrolet Corvette New Design

The Corvette is not only a popular sports car among buyers but also among individual coachbuilders. Over the years, we’ve shown you tons of Corvette-based builds ranging from the bad-ass Rossi SixtySix and the Genadi LSR Roadster to the more recent Soleil Anadi. In other words, there’s a Corvette for every taste, however outlandish you can imagine.

The latest company to jump onto the Corvette coachbuilding bandwagon is Endora Cars, which is based in Germany. Their build is called the SC-1 and it’s styling is inspired by the American and European sports cars of the 1960s and early 1970s. Seen here in the first official renderings, the SC-1 blends certain elements of the Corvette such as the Coke-bottle profile and sweeping roof, with a sharp front nose and a unique rear end along with partially covered rear wheel arches.
Under the body panels lie the platform and the mechanical hardware of the sixth generation Corvette. Endora Cars said it will offer buyers the choice of three configurations. The basic model will be equipped with GM’s 6.2-liter V8 pushing out 437-ponies and 424 lb-ft of peak torque, while a second option will be a 7.0-liter V8 with 512HP and 470 lb-ft of torque. Sitting at the top of the range will be a supercharged version of the 6.2-liter V8 delivering 647-horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque to the rear axle.
All engines will be mated to a six-speed-manual gearbox, while a 6-speed automatic transmission and paddleshifts will be optional on the entry-level V8 model.
The German company added that an electronic traction control and the Active Handling-system that monitors the driving dynamics will come as standard as will a set of 19-inch alloys wheels up front and 20-inch at the back.
Pricing, availability and other details have not yet been announced.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro Spyder

Any tuning kits for the Chevrolet Camaro typically take advantage of the muscle car’s coupe form, but Revolution Styling PR have gone a different route by capitalizing on the convertible version of this hot ride. With extensive modifications, including their own patent pending forward tilt hood, the tuning company has developed the world’s first Turbocharged Camaro Spyder. The model will be based on the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro and will be limited to 20 units per year. The price for the conversion will range from $50,000 to $80,000 and will be sold at Chevrolet dealers starting in June 2011.
The first unit of the Camaro Spyder was revealed at the 2011 Camaro5 event in Chandler, Arizona. It featured a 610-hp /6.2-liter eight-cylinder turbo engine and was painted in red jewel metallic exterior with piano black rally stripes and a reverse opening hood. The patent pending forward tilt hood is combined with LED lighting for a more high end look. A birth certificate and additional window sticker is produced for each special production car as well.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS

May 2011 has been a very big month for Americans. Not only is it "National Military Appreciation Month," but our military even succeeded in killing one of the most hated men in America - Osama Bin Laden - as a bonus. Now, in honor of all of the soldiers that have protected us for all of these years, General Motors is expanding their $500-$4,000 discounts off of selected Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles to include military spouses and retirees. Vehicles purchased by these families will get an “Honor” badge and donations of $100 will be made to Cell Phones for Soldiers for each eligible vehicle sold with a military discount.
In addition to the added discounts and donations, Chevrolet will also be debuting a special edition Camaro SS called Honor and Valor. This special edition will be limited to only 99 units and will make its world debut during the Indianapolis 500 military personnel parade on May 28, 2011.
"We are committed to offering military professionals and their family members the best value in the industry," said Dan Akerson, General Motors Chairman and CEO. "As a former Navy man, I hold the highest regard for the men and women of our Armed Forces – past and present – who help keep our country safe and preserve our precious liberties."
